Inspired by the ancient South Indian art of Kolam, these Floating Kolam Brass Tealights are a tribute to a tradition passed down through generations of women over 5,000 years. Traditionally drawn at the thresholds of homes to invite prosperity and harmony, Kolam patterns are reimagined here as elegant, handcrafted brass tealights.
Made from pure brass, each diya in this set of two beautifully blends cultural symbolism with modern-day utility. Use them to light up corners, float them in water bowls, or repurpose them as kumkum holders. Their simple grace makes them ideal for daily rituals, special occasions, or meaningful gifts.

Care Instructions
Brass develops a natural patina over time. To maintain its glow:
Wipe regularly with a soft dry cloth
Clean with Pitambari, or natural cleaners like lime & salt, tamarind, or vinegar
Dry immediately to avoid water stains
For dark spots, apply tamarind or lime concentrate, wait 15 minutes, then rinse
Let these tealights float in calm water or shine on their own—either way, they carry the warmth of tradition and the beauty of handcrafted art.
